Creamy Apple Cobbler with Easy Oatmeal Crust combines apples and cream cheese filling for a rich, delicious cheesecake flavor without all the work. If you like a little variety, try using cherries, peaches, or even berries instead of apples. Tastes great topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt.

Creamy Apple Cobbler with Easy Oatmeal Crust
Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
Prep time :

Bake/Cook time :
0:35 to 0:40
Yield :
6-8 servings

INGREDIENTS

*Spoon & Sweep method: Use a spoon to fill measuring cup with flour until required amount is obtained. Scooping measuring cup directly into flour bag will firmly pack flour resulting in too much flour required for recipe.

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly coat a 10-inch quiche dish (or a 1-quart shallow baking dish) well with a non-stick spray. Set aside.
  3. Toss apples with lemon juice. Set aside.
  4. Prepare Easy Oatmeal Crust. Set aside.
  5.  Beat cream cheese with remaining ingredients until smooth, then fold into apples. Pour apple/cream cheese mixture into prepared baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle generously with Easy Oatmeal Crust and bake in center of oven for 35-40 minutes or until golden.
  7. Cool slightly and serve warm.
  8.  Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt, if desired.
