This super easy recipe for Duck Sauce is so versatile and can be used for so much more than a dip for egg rolls. Try using it as a glaze for chicken or a pork tenderloin, a dip for cocktail meatballs, or even as a garnish on a holiday cheeseboard.

Duck Sauce
Light Brown Sugar

1 1/2 cups


  • 1 cup apricot preserves
  • 3 tablespoons Imperial Sugar Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh, minced ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh, minced garlic


  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a small mixing bowl with a whisk until evenly combined. 
  2. Let rest in an airtight container in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. 
  3. Duck Sauce can be stored for up to 1 month.
